The Oak Park and River Forest community is blessed with many excellent primary schools - a vigorous public school system, an extensive Catholic school system, two Montessori schools; and Christian and Lutheran schools. Oak Park and River Forest has three outstanding High Schools, offering excellent College Preparatory Programs, as well as a variety of programs to meet the needs of all the community.

While no one accuses of Oak Park and River Forest of being a college town, it is the bedroom community for several Colleges and Universities -- all within a short drive.
